Terms of Use
1. Introduction
Sound Push is designed to be fun and entertaining — for pranks with friends, reaction videos, and silly moments shared between people who know and trust each other. By using this app you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sound Push. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the app with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf.
3. Acceptable Use
- Use the app responsibly and respectfully.
- Do not use Sound Push to harass, disturb, or harm others.
- Do not use the app in environments where an unexpected sound could cause harm — for example, in hospitals, while someone is driving, or during important events such as exams, ceremonies, or medical procedures.
- Be mindful that receivers will hear sounds even when their phone is locked — Sound Push plays at alarm volume and wakes the screen. Sounds do respect the phone's Silent, Vibrate, and Do Not Disturb settings: if a device is silenced, the sound will not play.
4. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for how you use the app.
- Obtain implied or explicit consent from the owner of any device you link to.
- Do not link to devices without the owner's knowledge.
- Recording other people. The reaction recorder films whoever is in front of your camera. You are responsible for obtaining the consent of anyone you record, and for how you store, share, or publish those videos, in line with the privacy and likeness laws that apply to you.
- You are responsible for any misuse, including but not limited to misuse by people you allow to use your device or account.
5. Purchases and Ads
- The free version of Sound Push is supported by ads. You can remove all ads, and unlock optional themed sound packs, through one-time in-app purchases.
- All purchases are processed by Google Play, subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. We do not receive or store your payment details.
- Purchases are one-time and non-transferable. What you own is tied to your Google account and restores automatically when you reinstall the app or switch phones.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy, not by us directly. This does not affect any mandatory rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
6. Intellectual Property
The Sound Push app, its name and logo, and the built-in and purchasable sounds are owned by the developer or its licensors, and are provided to you under a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app as intended. Sounds you record yourself remain yours; you are responsible for the content you create and send.
7. Disclaimer of Liability
Sound Push is provided "as-is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not responsible for any consequences resulting from misuse of the app, including but not limited to damages, distress, or losses arising from sounds played on receivers' devices. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. The current version will always be available at this URL. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the updated terms.
